Horrible start put Bold Journey too far out of it. Got $32 exacta and $44 for place bet. Made $8, Better than a kick to the stomach. In R5, I'll go with No. 1 Dynadrive and Javy Castellano. Same bet: $20 W and P. $2 exacta keys 1/A and A/1.

Wasn't close and finally had a longshot come in. Lost $64 on race, down $56 on day. Michael Maker claimed Dynadrive, so bet him next time. In R6, I'll go with 4 Shop Lifting. 6-1 morning line, but everyone and their mother is on her--which makes me scared. Just go with exotics...$3 Exacta key 4/A and $2 exacta key A/4. $45 total wagered.

Thought Shop Lifting was going to pull away. Caught at the wire. Too much money on her back. Got back $46.60 on exacta. Made $1.60 on race. Down $54.40 on day. In R7, going with #2 Gunite because can't take 3/5 on Elite Power. $30 win on No. 2.

Tyler Gaffalione gave Gunite a great ride. Made $39 on the race. Now down $24.40 on the day. In R8, going with No. 12 Southern Horse, who is 9-1 right now. Wow. Big field so maybe bombs away here. Going $20 W/P and $2 12/A exacta key and A/12 exacta key. $80 total wager.

Should have laid off when my horse was a late scratch. No wonder he wasn't being played. Lost $76 on race. Down $100.40 on day. Going with No. 3 Verifying with Prat. $20 W and place; $2 exacta key 2/All and All/2. $60 total in wagers.

Hate to see that. Damn. It did benefit me and they might have caught New York Thunder anyway, but terrible way to make money. Got $52 in place money and $221.50 for $2 exacta. Up $113 on the day. In R10, going with No. 2 Matareya. $20 W and P; $3 exacta key 2/1678 and 1678/2, $64 total wagers.

Finished just like they bet them. Just hit a nice one at Gulfstream. Going with the 6 Channel Maker in R10. $20W andP and $3 ex key 6/A and A/6.
